Hydrolysis hydrogen production refers to the dissociation of water molecules under the action of direct current to generate oxygen and hydrogen, which are separated from the anode and cathode of the electrolytic cell respectively. Hydrogen production by electrolysis is usually divided into basic electrolysis (AE), proton exchange membrane (PEM) and high temperature solid oxide (SOEC) according to the different diaphragm materials of electrolytic cell.
