If hydrogen is transported by liquid hydrogen tank truck, the transportation cost of hydrogen is a large part of the end price of hydrogen, which greatly hinders the large-scale development of renewable energy electrolysis of water to produce hydrogen.
For the problem of high cost of hydrogen storage and difficult transportation, some local enterprises have invented liquid solar fuel projects and developed the storage mode of hydrogenation of carbon dioxide to methanol, providing a new way for hydrogen transportation. This storage method can solve the problems of high pressure transportation, storage cost and safety, and achieve the goals of carbon dioxide recovery and whole-process cleaning.
Regarding the future development of electrolytic water hydrogen production, in recent years, regardless of the number and scale of projects, the development of renewable energy electrolytic water hydrogen production is accelerating.
